Manipur recorded its third consecutive win in a group match of the 51st National School Games Under-19 (girls) football tournament with a comprehensive 18-0 rout of Andhra Pradesh at Goa today.
Th Monika led the goal-riot with five as N Roma added three more to the State�s score tally.
M Mandakini, M Angoubi, Y Kamala and Ch Maipakpi struck on two occasions each with Lalvarmoi Hmar and M Bembem extending the victory margin with one goal apiece.
Manipur had registered easy victories over Chhattisgarh and Haryana earlier in the competition.
Goa humilated Ajmer 10-0 to score their second win to enter into the quarter-finals of the Games here today.
Goa, who beat Assam yesterday, took lead in the 10th minute through Sumitra Shalke.
Then Domiana Gomendas scored a brace to have the hosts leading 3-0 at half time.
Asteffi D�Costa opened the flood gates scoring four goals while Gracy D�Costa scored a brace and Crista Souza rounded off the tally in the 60th minute to complete the humiliation.
In other matches, Maharashtra beat Delhi 3-1 and Haryana blanked Andhra Pradesh 4-0 to score their second win.
Thus Haryana with Maharashtra and Goa made it into the quarters.
At Nehru stadium, Tamil Nadu held Chandigarh to a goalless draw, while Sikkim drew Punjab 1-1.
