Imphal, September 29: In addition to organising a voluntary blood donation camp on October 1 at RIMS Blood Bank to mark National Blood Donation Day, Imphal West District branch of Indian Red Cross Society Manipur will conduct identification of blood grouping and RH typing of rickshaw pullers, truck drivers and labourers at the premises of Imphal Municipal council from 9 am onwards, said a press release.

The IMC programme would be conducted for a year in collaboration with All Manipur Rickshaw Drivers & Pullers� Association and IMC authorities.

Health check-up: Service and Education for Welfare Action, RIAC Project, Soibam Leikai today organised a one-day health check-up programme at DIC, Yaingangpokpi Bazar under the supervision of Dr Motilal, Medical officer LEWS Community Care Centre, Lei-ingkhol.

The project on September 27 also organised a one day community meeting on HIV/AIDS & STD for the community leaders at the same venue.
