After the recent decision of the State Cabinet to lift the ban on the fresh recruitment of employees in some departments, Employment Exchanges located in all the districts of the State have set the motion for fresh recruitment in various departments.
The existing vacancies arose out of the retirement of many employees upon reaching the age of superannuation.
Adding to that is the ban imposed by the Government on fresh recruitment since 1999.In this regard Employment Exchange, Imphal West has issued necessary notification for recruitment of employees to various departments and sponsoring of candidates.
For Imphal West, sponsoring of names for 17 posts of LDC in the Department of FCS will be held on November 28.Out of this, five posts are reserved for ST, SC-1 and 11 for general.
Candidates are informed to bring their typing certificate along with employment exchange card.
The Exchange also notified that Department of SCERT will be conducting interviews for one post of theory instructor (Gen), four post of graduate teacher (1-Gen, 1 ST) 10 posts of primary teacher (5 Gen, SC-1, ST-4), one post each of Art Instructor (Gen), LDC (Gen) and five posts of Grade-IV (Gen-4, SC-1).Candidates can sponsor their names at the exchange on December 7.The date for the interview will announced later on.
The qualification for theory instructor is BA with BEd, graduate teacher (BA), primary teacher (PU).
The Department of Art and Culture is also conducting an interview on December 15 at its directorate office for one post of Sr Lecture (Sutra) and one electrician (gr-I) for which candidates can sponsor their names at the exchange on December 9.For Lecturer, the candidate should be a PG diploma in Ras from JNMDA or its equivalent.
The Department of Revenue will conduct interviews for the post of 69 Mandol (Gen-46, ST-21, SC-2), 18 posts of Process Server (Gen -12, ST-6), 10 posts of Zilladar (Gen-5, ST-4, SC-1), three posts of Revenue Inspector (Gen-2, ST-1), five posts of Draughtsman (Gen-3, ST-1, SC-1), one post of Lambu (gen), three post of chainman (gen-2, ST-1), one post of LDC (Gen), two posts of Stenographer (gen-1, ST-1), five posts of driver (Gen-3, ST-1, SC-1), five posts of peon (Gen-3, ST-1, SC-1), three posts of Chowkidar (gen-2, ST-1), 26 posts of LDC (Gen-16, ST-9, SC-1) and one post of sweeper (gen).
Candidates are advised to contact Vacancy Assistant on December 13 and sponsor their names.
The dates for the interview will be announced later on.
Qualifications for Mandol is matriculate while for zilladar it is PU Sc and BA for Revenue inspector.
Interview for three posts of Workshop Attendant and two posts of Lab Attendants will be conducted by Director of Controller for Technical Education for which candidates are informed to sponsor their names to the vacancy assistant on December 16 during office hours.
Minimum qualification for the post is class VIII passed from a recognised institute.
Meanwhile, the Employment Officer, Imphal West Sh Bijoy Singh in a statement said that the upper age limit in case of OBC candidates of all categories of post of Director of Education (S) has been relaxed by three years.
