Imphal, November 20: The United People's Front (UPF), Manipur had opened its three new zonal councils at Singjamei, Waithou Saman and Waithou Chiru on November 19, conveyed a press release issued by UPF.

MS Chongrending (Ading) and Sd Robinson were elected president and secretary general of the Waithou Chiru UPF Zonal Council.

For the Waithou Saman council, Ngaranmi would be its president and Masophy secretary general.

B Homen and W Nilabanta would serve as president and secretary general of the Singjamei zonal council, mentioned the release.
